SCHOOL MAGAZINE , OBJECTIVE , SIGNIFICANCE AND LAYOUT (STRENGTHING LANUAGE PROFICIENCY)

INTRODUCTION:Generally, a school magazine is a literacy magazine for children which are published for children of a school. It is journal of a school. It is called the mirror of a school. It helps the student to be creative.

MEANING:A School magazine is annual publication of school. It is usually published once a year. Student and teachers write to it. It contains the literacy works or other information of a school.

Magazine and journal : According to Oxford Dictionary a magazine is ," a periodical publication containing articles by various writers, chiefly, a periodical publication intended for general rather than learned or professional readers and consisting  of a miscellany of critical and descriptive articles.

OBJECTIVES OF SCHOOL MAGAZINE:

1. The main objective of school magazine is to encourage young learners to flourish their dormant talents and creative facilities.
2. To raise the standards and help children to understand how knowledge relates to practical skills and the real world outside the classroom.
3.     To inform parents on the events of the school and what the student have been doing recently.
4. To provide opportunity t o the students for self-expression in written form.

7. To promote interaction between departments within school, such as Art and Design, business studies and IT, in the production of a publication or online edition if any.
8. To improve communication between pupils, teachers and parents.
9. To channelise the creative aspect of the children.
10. To deliver scientific, cultural and sports news to students,   so that they stay updated with the latest news leisure time.
11. To develop in students sense of loyalty.
