Scope of sociology of education
EMILE DURKHEIM (1858-1917),Who is regarded as ''father of sociology of education' define sociological of education as a '' a systematic study sociological perspective.'' The term 'social perspective' stresses the social context in which people live such as society. In which 'society' is a group of people who share a certain culture and a territory and "PERSPECTIVE" is view of the world and it is refereed to us social imagination.

- Study of Relationship:-e.g for which way society influences the education.
- Effect of economy:- e.g standard of education provided by school or Government.
- Role & structure of school:- e.g (role of school environment in character building of students.
- Social problems:e.g racism , gender discrimination etc.
