CONCEPT OF CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT 

Curriculum development refers to organization and implementation of a suitable programme for the target learner with the objective to lead him towards living and bring out his potential.

Curriculum development involves various stages to be followed by those engaged in designing and developing curriculum. it is a specialised area of work which experts a teacher to have a deep understanding of the underlying concept of curriculum and also the skill by the society.

• Ronnie E.P :- "curriculum Development is defined as the process of selecting, organising, executing and evaluating learning experiences on the basis of the needs, abilities and interests of the learners  and the nature of the society".
