Attempt one question each from Section A & B carrying 10 marks each and the entire Section C consisting of 5 short answer type questions carrying 3 marks each.

SECTION—A

Write about axioms, assumptions and hypothesis in Mathematics with suitable examples. 4,3,3

Elaborate on contribution of Indian mathematician Ramanujan in the field of Mathematics. 10

SECTION—B

III. What do you mean by objectives in behavioural terms? How can Bloom’s taxonomy of educational objectives be used for writing such objectives? 3,7

OR

IV. What is meant by pedagogical analysis? How will you carry out pedagogical analysis for the topic ‘Fractions’. 3,7

SECTION—C (Compulsory Question)

V. Write short notes on the following :

1. Nature of Mathematics

2. Historic development of notations and hypothesis in Mathematics

3. Aims of teaching Mathematics in secondary schools

4. Need of pedagogical analysis

5. Importance of Mathematics in daily life. 5×3=15
